At the right price, the Leapster GS Explorer can be a good buy. It might not have a great screen, high specs or a half-decent camera, but it gives your kids a lot of fun things to do, and access to a library of entertaining, education-heavy apps. This new generation Leapster provides an educational video gaming experience. Kids can take charge of the action with the built-in motion sensor by tilting, turning and shaking their way through the game. They can also bring the real world into their play-and put themselves right into the game-with the built-in camera, video recorder and microphone. LeapsterGS delivers on fast-action gameplay while building core skills for success in school and in life.

The gaming system has seen a fairly extensive overhaul compared to its predecessor, and it all seems to be for the better. The device has increased in width, but it no doesn't have a bulky battery pack and certainly feels much better in the hands.
