Overall, you're getting this camera for its rugged and waterproof aspects, and at those points the camera performs wonderfully. Eventually we hope Kodak starts to innovate in the image quality arena as well.

I've put this unit through a lot of use in various conditions. Other than some occasional audio glitches & it's performance in low light I've been very pleased with this camera. It's been a great camera for me this summer catching hiking & mountain biking footage....

This is the best water proof camera for the price. It makes good shots in the water and is great to film rough water scenarios. Do not expect more. This camera does not film very well outside of its comfort zone. It is not the best for filming other things.

Battery life is okay. Last about 90 minutes of continuous recording. Menu and buttons not that easy to use. Only icons. No wording to guide you. Lovely video. I have not tried to record under water, but it held up well in a heavy mist.
