I was just looking to beef up my gadget list and recently bought the Kodak A250 50-in-1 Card Reader. Noticed Kodak's SD cards were listed but not this device. Would not be too upset since it is minor and not work the effort to list myself. Thanks!

I am deciding between this and the flip mino HD. I'm leaning toward the zi8 but the real deciding point is how the stabilization is on both cameras.
Is the optical stabilization in the Mino that much better than the electronic stabilization on the zi8 or is it not that much of a factor?
Has anyone found a way to use this as a webcam? That would be such a huge help for a webshow that I do.
But another web shit I do is also great to have the small form factor...just asking?

Help!!!! We bought a Kodak Zi8 a week ago, and we have had major problems with it!
Somehow we have lost a wedding video and a graduation video, and we don't know if it's the camera or the SDHC card (Micro Center's brand) 32 G class 6. With the wedding, we discovered the loss the next morning. In the case of the graduation (today!), there were other videos on the card that we had viewed multiple times and are now gone along with the graduation videos. The camera just shows 0/0 in the list. I am between Kodak Zi8, Kodak PlaySport Zx3 and Flip Ultra HD but I have NO IDEA at all about how to choose one or another.
The fact that the Zx3 has flash memory is a positive for me but I just don't know. I really need your help. Which one of these three or do you recommend any others? Budget is about £250.

Kodak Zi8 won't turn on
I just purchased a Kodak Zi8 at Target this morning. I set it up to charge as the manual stated, and saw the charge light come on. I let it charge for about 3 hours, and when I checked it, the charge light was off. Unfortunately, the camera won't turn on. I went through Kodak support and they just suggested to send it in for repair. I certainly won't be doing that, since I just purchased it this morning! I plan on taking it back to Target tomorrow for a refund, but I'd like to know...

Kodak zi6 won't work with SD Card, I get ! and ? & SD card slot won't lock.

I recently purchased this video camera and a 16gb sdhc card (ps. the sd card does not lock in the slot, unless I push it in firmly and hold it closed for awhile) The camera works well for all of 14 seconds without the SD card, but when I put it in the first time an exclamation mark showed up over the SD symbol on the LCD. Final Cut Compatibility?
I've seen it mentioned in a few places that the codec used by the Zi8 will mean greater compatibility with Final Cut Express than the awful Flip codec. Anyone know? Would an owner be willing to upload a small video somewhere that was pulled from the Zi8 so I can test it? Thanks.

Cheap stabilizer but not DIY
I know this is overkill, but I want something like the Steadicam Merlin or the Hague Mini Motion-Cam but I don't want to pay for something that costs as much or more than the camera! I've seen the Flip Float DIY project in action, which is pretty nice, but I don't think I have the patience or the skills to put something like that together http://www.protodojo.com/content/2009/01/mini-came... Kodak Zi6 Won't Turn On At All
So I bought a Kodak Zi6 about a year ago, and I don't use it all the time, but today, I put new batteries in it, planning to use it for the first time in a while, and it won't turn on at all. I've tried plugging it in via USB and turning it on, but nothing. Apparently, I'm not the only one with this issue, too. There's no SD card in it right now.

I'm interest in getting an external stereo microphone for my Zi8. The Sony ECMMS907 has good reviews on Amazon but it needs plug in power. Does the Zi8 support this? If not, does anyone have a recommendation for a microphone?

Video playback on pc
Hey guys i loaded up a video(hd60) from vacation on my pc and downloaded the latest quicktime. I tried playing it back and it was pretty choppy and stuttered. Has anyone had this problem?
