Conclusion: We like it

These lightweight in-ear headphones offer great sound, good noise-isolation, and a snug fit, all at under $100. They also include an inline remote/mic that will work with current iOS devices. If you don't need the mic/remote, consider the S4, which has similar sound quality, but no mic, and is available for about $30 less — or you can opt for the black version of the S4i, which is often marked down to a lower price than the more Apple-esque white model.

The Klipsch Image S4i earphones offer up sound quality on par with and better than sets that cost many times as much, and they include compelling extras for iPhone and iPod users.

At just $20 more than Apple's In-Ear headset, the Klipsch Image S4i is a no-brainer, assuming Voice Control and VoiceOver are priorities to you. If they don't matter, or if you've got an older iPhone or non-Apple handset, the choice is less clear.

For $100, you get a great-sounding pair of earphones that controls the latest iPods and iPhone, and even works with the iPod shuffle voice-over feature.

Magnificent headphones can transform everyday listening sessions into mystical experiences ... Klipsch has produced some of our favorite speaker systems, but we would never have predicted that any manufacturer’s rookie earbud effort would bring us so close to sonic nirvana.

The quality of the mic for hands-free calls was variable. ... They're reasonably comfortable, though we found it tricky to get a good fit with the supplied tips, and the over-the-ear route the thin cable takes isn't to everyone's taste.

Extremely light and comfortable headphones with decent sound for a reasonable price. The music controls work perfectly with my iPhone and provide a lot of utility for someone who listens to music every day while walking around Philly. Speaking of which, the in ear design provides plenty of noise...

I searched the world over for a $100 (or less) pair of earbuds with good sound to use with my iPhone. I've probably wasted $300 - $400 in the past three years buying products from Apple, Shure, AltecLansing and others. I never found a product that sounded nearly as good or wore as comfortably as...

These are great earphones from my point of view: before trying them, I tried Apple InEar and Koss PortaPro. Apple were worse because they used to telegraph a lot of noise from wire movement, making it unpleasant to listen to music while running or biking. Klipsch do not have this problem, while...

These are my first relatively nice pair of in ear headphones, and I love the sound quality so far. They do come with a nice little case to put them in, which is nice to have. The noise isolation is as good as my noise canceling over ear headphones, and listening to bass-heavy music sounds great....

i had doubts about the durability thing, given the thinness of the cable. actually, the rubber started to pull and separate from the 1/4" plug at one point a year ago, but hey, a year later and these things are still kicking. they're my everyday commute and gym phones and they have never failed.

This is my running/workout earphones (simply because I have "higher-end" IEMs I don't want to ruin) and once modded with Comply foam tips are perhaps the most comfortable earphones I have. Bass is good but with foam tips there is a definite increase in power - also reduces microphonics. The...

A stunning pair of earphones. They don't look the premium which they are, and for the price they offer super sound quality. These are really competitive, comfortable, and all round brilliant. They could do with being a little more durable, to tip them up the scale.

I purchased these headphones last September and never really used them, the ear buds they come with suck. Then about two weeks ago my old and trusted Shure's broke. So I took off the nice Shure foam ear buds and put them on the S4i's WOW! They sound great, stay in the ear, and isolate so...

These are fantastic in-ear headphones. They don't get better then this for this price, especially if you are an iPhone user. If you are not look into the s4 headphones by Klipsch. Everything works well, they are comfortable and sound excellent. Deep lows and crisp highs. The only drawback I...
