I have owned Motorola, Samsung and Plantronic Bluetooth headsets in the past. My favorite up until now was the Plantronics. The jawbone icon is small, simple and just plain works. I don't think I need to speak to the performance anymore. This is all I look for in a headset and this one delivers... Read the full review →

Sound Quality: Audio pick up is quite clear and noise canceling is unmatched. You get very very minor distortion due to noise canceling when there's background noise that it's filtering out. Otherwise, really it's quite clear or when you disable noise canceling. The audio from the... Read the full review →
I was lucky enough to win the Jawbone Icon in a contest, and I was sent the Bombshell model, which is bright gold. I probably would have picked the more subtle colors if I had a choice, but the gold Icon looks a kinda neat, especially with the textured surface. As a headset, the audio is nice and... having owned several bluetooth headsets I was very pleased to put this on and have it be so comfortable right from the beginning. Voice quality is about average with some static occasionally but people on the other side of the line always said I sounded crystal clear. Read the full review →

Although the ICON has the great feature of using words to let you know its status (if its on, battery, connection, etc) it's voice quality isn't as good as my Voyager Pro. I compared the two using the same phone (Treo 755p) as well as using it while on a WebEx conference call. It's a... Read the full review →
When I set out to buy the ICON, I wasn't looking for much. Just a headset to wear while driving home from work so I didn't have to juggle my phone, steering and shifting all at once. I figured that anything above and beyond that was cake and the price was right, so why not pull the... Read the full review →
This has got to be one of the best bluetooth earpieces on the market! It needs two things that will make it better... 1st - A DECENT earpiece! They did a great job when they went to the newer earpiece, but it is still crappy and never fits in the ear so alot of external noises makes it hard to hear... Read the full review →

I love this headset. I just upgraded into the ERA but I've still been using this on a daily basis. Excellent. Jawbone's the only way to go. Read the full review →
Aliph's hit the spot with six pretty rad designs for the Jawbone Icon, while offering a fresh platform to customize each headset and making it easier to use at the same time. More importantly, the Icon has a noise elimination trick that actually produces results.
Not only is the Aliph Jawbone Icon attractive and affordable with great call quality, but it is also highly customizable with advanced features that makes it the most innovative Bluetooth headset we've seen to date.
See video after the jump.
Look, we can hate on Bluetooth headsets all we want, but the fact is, they're both practical and popular among a certain set—and Aliph's new Jawbone Icon is a solid choice, though barely changed from previous versions.
Aliph has shown a lot of savvy in designing its headsets; in the Jawbone Icon it offers consumers a reasonably priced, well-designed and very snazzy-looking device. It will be interesting to see if the idea of an app store in the form of the MyTalk site actually takes off -- and if it's copied by other headset vendors in this increasingly competitive market.
