Conclusion: We like it
The ioSafe Solo G3 is expensive, heavy and slow. But it's also fireproof up to 1,550° , waterproof up to 10 feet for 72 hours, and can be bolted to the floor to make it more theft-resistant. ioSafe also offers a range of data-recovery plans, some of which extend the drive's warranty for up to 5 years. While it doesn't support RAID, which could limit its ability to recover from failure, if you need to keep critical data on-site, and want to protect it from the elements, the Solo G3 should keep you covered.
