The iControlpad is the third product ever released in this category - generic bluetooth wireless gaming controllers. The first two products - BGP-100 and Zeemote were both innovative, but the iCP's implementation is much better. The iCP is designed to be used as a wireless gaming controller for cell phones, tablet PCs and laptops. It's main focus is on cell phones and it uses a system of clamps to attach itself to the body of your cell phone to create a single-piece gaming device. The noteworthy aspects of this device are that the gaming controls are well laid out and exactly what one needs to play classic or modern games - a d-pad, 2 analog "nubs", and plenty of buttons. The bluetooth implementation is top-notch - the iCP supports SPP and several HID modes including keyboard, joystick and gamepad. With all of these options, it is nearly guaranteed that it will connect with whatever device you have. The iCP has a built-in Li-Ion battery which provides many hours of use and can be used to charge your cell phone. For anyone looking to play classic or modern games on their phone who wants a great set of gaming controls, the iCP is an excellent choice. The only downside is the price. It is currently being produced in small batches and as such, the cost is much higher than your average mass-produced gaming accessory.
