me too, W7, 1GB Ram, 120GB 7200rpm. screen is gone though, need to use an external monitor.
also, sometimes GPU crashes and displays weird mouse rectangle when shutdown pressing power button for some seconds (cold start?). great laptop though!

This six year old laptop is still running! Since getting it I maxed out the ram at 2GB switched it to a faster 7200 rpm 100 GB hard drive.
Right now I am running windows 7 on it without major issues. The performance is comparable if not a bit better than your average netbook.
