  • Features I would give it 5 out of 5 if it would let me get rid of some of the T-Mobile crapware on it. Let's Golf ... really? good
  • Display Sharp crisp display. Videos look really good on this. great!
  • Battery life The battery life isn't horrible but it isn't great either. Claims you can run it about 10 hours... depends on what you are doing I guess. so-so
  • Ease of use The ease of use is "Good" because I had to learn Honeycomb. It's not hard but there is a little learning curve if you are coming from Froyo. good
  • Storage capacity Springboard has 16GB internal memory and I added 16GB more in microSD. good
  • Design and form factor It's a little heavy, but it's sturdily built. The flap for adding micro-sd looks flimsy good
  • Portability (size / weight) A little heavier than you would think it would be for a 7 inch tablet. good
  • Durability Once you have a nice case for it, it's very durable. great!
Detailed review
I bought the T-Mobile Huawei Springboard on a whim a month ago when T-Mobile was having a sale. The price was right and I was ready to have a tablet. In some ways I find a 7 inch screen a little small for video viewing but the display is really good. I bought a micro-hdmi to hdmi to play with displaying it on a television. It looks okay on it, the resolution is a little more noticeable and sometimes the tablet will flash briefly which can be really annoying, but overall it's cool that you can display the tablet on other screens. Angry Birds on a 42" display! LOL!

I haven't played with the camera very much. But the images from both front and back facing cameras are fine. I'll test skype on it in the future.

Honeycomb 4.0.3 seems pretty peppy. There is no noticeable lag and no freezing of apps. The tablet has software you can install on your computer so you can back up your tablet to your pc. And supposedly it will allow you to uninstall apps but I notice it really doesn't get rid of some of the TMobile crapware though.

Battery life is really the only issue with this device. I think it's clocked in some reviews as having about 9-10 hours of battery life. I would say it's closer to 6 hours. If you aren't playing a lot of videos it might last closer to 8.

Overall, I like this tablet. It is portable, has a sharp display. It runs Android and apps well. And it's not as expensive as an iPad. What's not to like?
