Huawei really seems to have met the challenge; sure, there are some rough edges, but nothing that can't be smoothed out over time -- and nothing that would prevent us from recommending the Comet.

Apart from the problem I had with the battery, which died after four months, I'm quite happy with this phone. I'm not filly convinced about the Android UI. There were numerous times I just wanted the simplicity of the Nokia E51. But the touch screen was useful for web browsing and accessing...
