Well, we didn't have high expectation for the Wildfire to begin with, and having played with it we were even less stoked. In general, this handset's seriously lacking in multimedia features, and then we have the screen problem plus the occasional lag.

The HTC Wildfire doesn't skimp on smart-phone features, offering some of the best social-network integration that money can buy. There's really nothing about this handset that screams 'cheap phone' except the low-res screen.
Read the full review →Nonetheless, the HTC Wildfire is a strong budget phone and a worthy entry-level model in HTC’s line-up.
Read the full review →The HTC Wildfire isn't perfect. Its low resolution screen won't appease heavy users, or those looking to enjoy games and video. However, no other phone of its size and price offers this level of design and build quality. Based on this it's easy to recommend.

Read the full review →As a cheap entry phone to the smartphone market it was good but if you buy a smart phone today I would certainly recommend something else. Good size, good scree, in fact I still think the resolution on the screen is OK. When I changed the "external memory" that is a SDmicro card I started to get...
Read the full review →All in all it's a good starter phone. I got it because I'm a student and have a very limited phone budget, but wanted a smartphone. It works for what I use it for, checking mail, twitter, calendar and so on. If you're a big app/game user you probably want something else.
