Is there a way to change from Opera to IE?
I heard somebody say they changed their browser from Opera to IE. Is there a way to have it sent to IE by default or did they just mean they select it instead of Opera?

Verizon upgrade to 6.5
Doe anyone know when Verizon might upgrade the TP2 to 6.5? I'm getting annoyed as I bought this with the anticipation that the upgrade would happen within weeks of release.

Running a WinMo 6.5 TF3D 2.5 ROM on it...questions?
It's essentially a tweaked Leo (HD2) ROM hacked for use on the TP2. I guess in a sense that could allow me to answer questions about the Leo. Anyone? I've used it for a couple days...I'll post more general impressions this weekend.

On a call, look at the phone... back to main menu? Verizon Version
When I'm on a call the screen goes blank to save battery power (I assume). When I take it away from my ear to get into options such as ending a call or trying to mute, the phone resets the the TouchFLO screen instead of staying on the call screen :( Is this some setting that I have on? It's kind of a pain in the butt to press the phone button to get back to the call screen to end a call. I could just press the end call button but then I'm taking the risk of not REALLY knowing if the...

Sense UI now on Android and WinMo. How bad is it for WinMo and/or Android?
HTC has now started to put Sense UI on both WinMo and Android. The average consumer is not going to know the difference between the two. How mad is Android/WinMo going to be when someone can walk into a store and ask for a UI instead of an opperating system? People wanting the Hero who are not on Sprint could very easily end up walking into their carriers store and finding another HTC device with what looks the same. How's the touch screen on this phone?
I'd really like to hear what owners of this phone think of the touch screen after using it for a bit of time. I tried the device at a T-Mo store today and I was a bit put off by the screen. Do you get used to the "soft" feeling? Ctrl key missing on Verizon and Sprint. Will Custom ROM's fix?
Noticed on the pre-release photos that the Verizon and Sprint (and Telus) versions don't have the Ctrl key (unlocked HTC and T-Mobile's have the key). Anyone know if there's likely to be a way to change that with custom ROM. I haven't had HTC before, but I know the custom ROM's are one of the great thing about HTC phones. Who's upgrading to this phone?
I have the original HTC Touch Diamond on Telus, and I'm thinking about upgrading to this phone when it comes out next week here. Telus is rumored to be getting the Palm Pre, and new Omnia series (Omnia Pro, Omnia II), but I will probably get the Touch Pro2, unless these other phones come out before September. Anyone else upgrading to this phone?
Touch Pro2 vs BlackBerry Tour
This is my second post. I don;t know what happened to the first one, so forgive me for duplicating this post. I have been a BlackBerry user for several years. While the device is perfect for phone and e-mail it doesn't keep up as I rely on it for more. I am using the Curve 8320. I currently use Docs ToGo, PDF ToGo, and Evernote extensively. Does anyone know when this Phone is going to get to Australia??
I've already gone around to some of the stores (JB and a few "3" stores) and no-one seems to be able to find out anything, and nobody knows when....Telstra said that they get phones 1 month later than every one else to test compatability. Snort. (As if) I emailed HTC in MARCH and I registered as a member of the HTC e-Club, (for what it's worth) . I go to the website, and not a peep about the phone. There are so many new Smartphones out there right now that are really enticing, iPhone 3GS, Nokia n97, Blackberry tour, .etc. Am I the only one that is pumped about the new HTC touch Pro 2? I think it will be great once WinMob 6.5 finally arrives!!
