- Reception and call quality AT&T faux G has good coverage in Hawaii.
- Display Clear, bright display. Low pixel density but can only tell when you try to look and are aware of it.
- Battery life Not really using it heavily during the whole day yet but with moderate use it lasts the whole day.
- Camera No comments
- Ease of use Windows Phone 7 is simple and elegant.
- Design and form factor Sounds big on paper but feels so good in your hand. Feels surprisingly thin.
- Portability (size / weight) No comments
- Media support Honestly I haven't tried a lot of different media types on here.
- Durability Feels solid. Metal body is niiiiiiice.
- Ecosystem (apps, accessories, etc.) I use a lot of Google services and there aren't many official Google apps.
Detailed review
First Windows Phone, hopefully isn't my last. I like the fact it's so different visually from iOS and Android. I waited till ICS was out to make my decision and though ICS is pretty slick, there's something about Windows Phone 7 (7.5 I guess, actually) that just screams style.
I was also debating between this and the Samsung Focus S. I was thinking the 4.7 inch screen on the Titan would be too much but after hearing how the Focus S has a "Ziploc" backing I knew I had to go with the higher quality build of the Titan. And wouldn't you know, the size is not a problem at all. For comparisons sake I have a Droid X from work and it is almost the same dimensions. The Titan is ever so slightly taller and a little wider but the thickness is the same with the Droid X being thicker at the top because of its protruding camera. I also use a case on the Droid X and with it the Droid X is the same size as the Titan. The difference is the Titan's screen is 4.7 inches compared to the Droid X's 4.3 inch.
Though spec for spec the Titan may not seem able to hang with the top dogs, I have yet to experience slow down. The UI is zippy and responsive. Simple and sexy is what I'd call Windows Phone 7.5.
