Title sums it all, sans a disappointment remark that I will keep for the body text. HTC has went too far in cutting down its Android liblings features. Good thing though, they did not went to amputate memory, that would have been crushing for this phone's functionality and not leave anything to background apps.
Aside from the disappointing 1100 mAh battery and the disappearance of my favourite, the trackball, I think HTC Tattoo is a worthy and very stylish successor of HTC Magic. Memory is an acceptable medium of 256 RAM, 512 RAM, same old screen and auto-focus camera as the Magic. Finally, custom ROMs won't be needeed to get Sense UI working and shiny. Overall, incredible value proposition for entry level smartphone users. Me, I keep waiting for HTC Touch HD 2.
