Do you enjoy it?
details
I am upgrading my phone with in the next week or so and I am interested in the HTC Sensation, I have done quite a bit of research on this phone and am so far impressed. But I would appreciate to hear what people have to say about this phone. If you have this phone, could you please tell me if you have had any problems with it or anything like that. Thank you.

Should we now avoid buying Android phones with hardware buttons?
details
Android Ice Cream Sandwich switched to a buttonless standard with the Galaxy Nexus. Sure, Android scales well for many different devices and ICS has backwards compatibility for phones with hardware buttons, but that's just a patch for the baggage.
Android evolved with virtual buttons in the System Bar (for Honeycomb, ICS, and beyond) for good reasons like:
  • hardware button inconsistency between devices
  • not having to guess whether the physical "Menu" button is useful in a context or not
  • quick access...

What makes the Sensation perform worse than Galaxy S II when benchmarked?
details
Hi there folks,
I am considering two Android phones right now (and good bye, iPhone 4) and I've narrowed it down to these two phones: HTC Sensation and Samsung Galaxy S2.
I had a chance to play around with both phones, and to be honest I think I like the general UI (Sense 3.0) of the Sensation better than the Galaxy, except the fact that it doesn't have the scroll "bounce back" at the top or the end of the page like the Galaxy. Should I get the Sensation or wait for Ice Cream Sandwich?
details
I'm really tempted to get a Sensation right now, but with rumours pointing to an October release for ICS it seems to be a little "dangerous", so to speak. Not really because of the software update per se but because ICS is supposed to get rid of the hardware controls, thus making the Sensation's controls redundant. Any advice will be much appreciated.

Sansung Glaxy S II vs. HTC Sensation
details
Hey world, I'm in the midst of a debate with myself over which phone to get. On the one hand the Galaxy S II is faster and has more internal memory, a better screen in terms of colour and sunlight performance and is thinner and lighter, on the other the HTC is better built, has a higher resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio, better audio quality and sense is a much better UI, plus the HTC is cheaper. What do you all think?

Will the next iPhone get an A5 chip?
details
Do you think, the next iPhone will get an A5 chip, like the one in iPad 2? This is interesting, because Samsung Galaxy S II and HTC Sensation 4G now got dual cores clocked at 1.2Ghz, the next Nexus is rumored to get 1.5Ghz dual core, and NVIDIA Kal-El (quad core) is coming soon. On the other hand, the iPad 2 with the A5 is fairly new and iPhone 4 is still working happily with A4. We already know that Ghz aren't everything so let's keep this on-topic. EDIT: My point is, 1.2 ghz dual cores are now... Read more →
