Not the only One!
details
Despite the singularity implied by calling your product the "One", there have actually been a bunch of gadgets with that name over the years. Thought I'd put together a list of the ones I could think of off the top of my head, please point any I've missed in the comments!

Got a Pebble and an HTC One? I found out why the One unlocks with just a tap.
details
I was getting really annoyed recently with the One's lockscreen because it stopped requiring me swipe when unlocking the phone. Instead, it would unlock when I tap anywhere on the lock screen. This can become problematic when you're controlling the music player from the lockscreen since the phone will unlock once you press any of the buttons.
Apparently, the reason why it does that is because a service in the Accessibility menu is on which would include Tasker, Pebble, Pebble Notifier, etc.... Read more →

When is the "best" smartphone not the best choice?
details
http://media.gdgt.com/img/products/481/abio/abio-460.jpg
We just scored the Samsung Galaxy S4, a smartphone that critics are calling "one of the best phones you can buy," and "the best Android phone on the market right now." And, as befits a phone with such accolades, we gave the S4 a gdgt Score of 92, and awarded it a Must-have badge, as we had done with its predecessor, the Galaxy S III.
However, we could have gone the other way, and withheld the Must-have status. The fact is, as many critics... Read more →

Switched from iPhone to HTC One
details
Hi everyone, first post. Felt compelled given how blown away I am at the HTC One. I'm on AT&T.
I've had every iPhone since day 1 and I finally decided to take the plunge on an Android device as the iPhone was getting stale for me. I have to say that the HTC One is absolutely top notch in my opinion. Beautiful build quality, feels great in hand, looks great etc. The sound is amazing on it (I listen to a lot of music through my phone and the two speakers on the front are excellent). Call... The problem is not the phone, it's the company.
details
2-3 years ago HTC was king of the hill when it came to keeping it's handsets up-to-date with respect to Android versions. They are now one of the worst. They seem to have lost their customer focus during their recent hard times. While Samsung and other are rolling out a steady stream of updates -- much to the enjoyment of customers who have invested a considerable amount of dollars into higher end smartphones -- HTC's recent business practice seem to be to issue NO updates, hoping consumers will... HTC shoots selves in foot. AT&T exclusivity for US customers involved.
details
HTC has made a TERRIBLE decision and signed an exclusivity deal with AT&T to offer the 64 GB to their customers only. This seriously ticks me off. As a Sprint customer with little access to a solid internet/wi-fi signal in my big corporate building, I needed the 64 GB for the work week.

Does this change your purchase intent? What other options do you have on your carrier?

T-Mobile introduces contract-free plans, but will you switch?
details
T-Mobile is finally introducing their new contract-free plans. Under these plans, the cost of the device would be factored into your bill over 24 months. So, if we use the just-announced T-Mobile iPhone 5 (http://www.engadget.com/2013/03/26/t-mobile-iphon... as an example, T-Mobile is asking you to put down $99 and then pay $20/month over 24 months, which brings your total cost for the device to $579. Additionally, after the phone is paid off you get the bonus of a cheaper bill!
Now as far as the... Read more →

Many new phones announced recently. What's captured your attention?
details
I was really excited about the HTC One when it was announced and I was dying to get my hands on one (pun not intended). Then they delayed its release to well after the Samsung GS4 announcement and I was worried they'd steal a lot of attention from the HTC One. Thankfully, it didn't in my opinion.

What about you guys?

$100 Trade-in Offer
details
With HTC offering the $100 or more for a used phone after buying the HTC One, what phone will you be offering for the rebate?

I have a used HTC Hero and my current HTC Evo 4g sitting around. I'll likely just send in the Hero and keep the Evo as a backup just in case something happens. I can't wait to pick up the silver and white handset. The black variant just doesn't pop out.

I have an HTC One. Ask Me Anything!
details
I have an HTC One and work for HTC. Got questions? Ask away!

I should clarify that I'm here to answer questions about the HTC One, not HTC in general, other products, software updates, future products, or anything else.

...and now that the HTC One is shipping in North America, I'll officially stop monitoring this thread. Hope the answers were useful!
