Bought the HTC Hero the day it came out by Sprint, thought I was on the cutting edge with my new Google android-based phone! Really enjoyed downloading many free applications from thousands available, everything from weather to sound apps. Once of the features I really appreciated was the touch-activated voice mail, every voice mail has its own entry, just click on it to instantly play the message, no more listening to many old messages trying to find the newest message, just click on a message and it plays instantly! Extremely effecient! Miss it now that I have let my son have my hero and im back to my blackberry. Only downside to it is the texting by touchpad, is hard to quickly compose a message, and can be extremely frustrating experience, especially if trying to quickly compose a message.
