Detailed review
[This applies to the newly updatd software]

Great phone, overall my only gripes would be the sub iPhone build quality (still better than many phones mind), poor audio over the 3.5mm jack and not quite there typing on the virtual keyboard

On the plus side, Android truly does feel more open and fresh than the iPhone. It really is great to have active widgets and with the new software the phone ceetainly seems mor responsive than the non 3GS iPhone.

Couple this with the attractive Sense UI running on top of Android and the software is pretty knock out.

I'd also like to give an honourary mention to:

Charging over miniUSB

Removable Battery

Audio out via dock connector (ala the iPhone, which is great for in car podcasts and music)

Slightly fingerprint resistant screen

Great status notifications, Hullomail integration and all the other great Google juice.

Overall a really great phone that has convinced me that moving away from the iPhone (which I loved) and iTunes and Apple (which I loathe) was a good decision.

C'mon guys lets get SnapDragon and a hardware keyboard in there.....
