  • Reception and call quality Pretty good call quality. so-so
  • Display Good color, but not great. Also, proximity sensor is occasionally broken such that screen remains off when phone is removed from face. Common problem. so-so
  • Battery life A whole day, kinda. so-so
  • Camera No comments
  • Ease of use WP7 is smooth and fantastic. Love it. great!
  • Design and form factor It's a thin slate. What can I say? good
  • Portability (size / weight) I really find 4.3" to be the sweet spot. good
  • Media support No comments
  • Durability Other than the proximity sensor issue, this thing has taken a few drops (with and without case) and continues to tock. good
  • Ecosystem (apps, accessories, etc.) Enough, but not everything. Really, this is my only regret about WP7. so-so
Detailed review
HD7 is a pretty great phone, but you've got to be down for the WP7 cause in order to justify the ecosystem (both hardware and software) hit that you take by not going with the iPhone. To me, the relative trade-off is 100% worth it in regards to Android simply due to the reponsiveness and UX.
