Is implementing 'Beats' audio hardware in device a gimmick or does it actually make a difference?
After reading the recent partnership of Beats and HTC I wondered how better would a smartphone's audio might sound. I have a HTC HD7 and I use it with my Bose in-ear headphones, the audio quality compared to my ipod touch is abysmal(volume is low and flat). Hopefully things get better with this partnership.

What are your favorite features of Windows Phone 7?
I am presenting a report on the features of Windows Phone in a class this Wednesday. I have only briefly played with a WP7 device and I was very impressed. It seems everyone is looking forward to Mango in the fall but I'd love to hear what the gdgt community thinks is especially great about Windows Phones. Thanks!

Is there a decent Google Voice app for Windows Phone 7?
None of the Google Voice apps listed in the Marketplace get particularly high marks, and while I'm certainly not expecting anything as good as Google Voice on Android, I would like to find out which is the best option.

I need help choosing what phone to upgrade to.
I am planning on upgrading from my LG Vu. So I am wondering what smartphone that isnt an iPhone would be best for me? I want good social features and good browsing speeds and a speedy UI. Obviously I have AT&T. I was considering a WP7 or Android. But no iPhone please. I need help getting recommendations

Is the screen quality on the HD7 as bad as critics say it is?
I know it's a big screen, 4.3 inches, but engadget in particular didn't like the viewing angles and saturation. So I want to know, is it as big of an issue as some people paint it? Or is it still a nice screen that isn't as good as AMOLED and the sort? Thanks.

I tried 2 different sony bluetooth headsets with the HTC HD7 but it looks like the audio for playing video on HTC HD7 works only with headset plugged in.
I can't make the audio work on bluetooth for video playback. Pure audio (audio podcasts, music playback) works fine with bluetooth. Have you noticed that too? WTF?

I got an HD7 on release day and was super excited about it.
I recent bought a new Prius and my old Android wouldn't sync contacts with the Bluetooth and was poor at playing music. The HD7 does a great job at this, but for some reason when I use the USB port that is builtin to the Prius to charge the HD7 it begins charging for about a minute and then stops. Any idea what might cause this? It works fine if I use a power adapter.

None of the new windows phones have any type of external storage. Is that a windows restriction or phone makers being lazy?
