HTC HD2 review -- Engadget

http://www.engadget.com/media/favicon.ico from Engadget - Nov 25, 2009

For folks who want to stay on the platform but want to run as far away from the stock experience as possible, the HD2 is the answer. Actually, you could say it's "the answer" for Windows Mobile 6.5, period -- this is easily the best WinMo device ever made, with world-beating hardware and a spec sheet that'd make any geek drool. Ultimately, though, it's going to take a thorough revamping of the core to make even the best "coachbuilt" WinMo-based HTC phone an easy recommendation, and that requires a commitment on Microsoft's part that we haven't yet seen

Since I plugged my AT&T 3G Card in my Touch HD2, I have yet found time to use my iPhone… Elegant, Fast, with a brilliant UI, the Touch HD2 is really something that I was expecting for a very long time in the Window Phone world.

This is definitely the best Windows Phone I've used. As a piece of hardware it is really beautiful. HTC's software does an admirable job of hiding most of WinMo 6.5's warts. [Read more]
