Detailed review
Okay, the bad: the screen still stutters a bit when switching from one to another (may be a fault of the live wallpaper), the touch navigation buttons aren't perfectly aligned and I HATE the new app launcher - it's a memory hog and it doesn't scroll very well.
That aside, the Nexus One is a dream come true. I'm finally able to run all the widgets I want, while listening to Pandora and browsing the web and suffer no notable loss in performance. My poor old Dream/G1 cringed every time I asked it to open a webpage. Not so with this powerhouse. It takes what I throw at it and asks for seconds!
I still hold out hope that Google will resolve the multitouch issue and develop an app solution that involves the microSD card, but I'm willing to live with those limitations as Android 2.1 with the Snapdragon and 512MBs of memory outperforms any phone I've ever owned. The best purchase I've made since my Zune HD!
