Detailed review
It's a beautiful phone with a gorgeous screen and a pretty good in hand feel. Coming from a G1 it took some getting used to because the Nexus is so much thinner in comparison, but hand kinda wanted more to grab onto. One thing that surprised me was the quality of the onscreen keyboard - this was a phone that was obviously designed from the beginning to be a virtual-keyboard only phone. The keyboard is responsive and I, who never thought I could possibly deal with a phone with no physical keyboard, am actually getting used to it and getting pretty fast - in comparison with the MyTouch it is a huge improvement. Also, the Snapdragon, of course, makes a huge difference in the usability of the phone. I often found myself sitting there waiting, and waiting, and waiting some more with the G1, where as this phone has that smooth instantaneous feeling that is closer to that on an iPhone.
The one thing that, for what is supposed to be a superphone, I might mark as a con is the same as jeffclavier mentioned. The UI really is kinda geeky (meaning I love it but for the average user it might just be... bleh). The phone will mature quite a bit I'm sure considering that Cyanogen is going to be working on modding it and even with future official firmware updates.
I guess my overall opinion is that it is a huge leap forward for Android phones, and it's a helluva lot closer to the iPhone than its predecessors, but I still don't think it will grab the average consumer anymore than an iPhone.
