We'd probably advise waiting until the next generation to see prices reduced to saner levels and refinements made on the software front.... The Flyer will find a market for itself, and there'll be a group of very satisfied users for whom it'll provide a unique blend of functionality.

There are a couple of particular reasons why you might want to pick up the HTC Flyer, including the pen, but it simply isn't that good a tablet. It's missing some media features we've come to expect, it's expensive, it has relatively poor battery life and it doesn't have software suited to a tablet. quote

The HTC Flyer is a beautiful little tablet that resembles HTC's celebrated line of Android smartphones. Unfortunately, the Flyer is still a 7-inch Gingerbread tablet living in an increasingly 10-inch, Honeycomb world.
Read the full review →The 7-inch size fits just as nicely between smartphones and 10-inch tablets in terms of functionality as it does in the hand, and the stylus adds a new layer of possibilities of which HTC Notes only scratches the surface. It’s likely to remain a niche model for the moment...

It is the perfect size to carry around with me wherever I go, and the battery lasts forever. Some improvements would be a higher (1280x800) res screen, possible tegra dual core (however the single core...

Read the full review →When I heard that HTC was releasing a tablet that had had-written note-taking capabilities, and that it integrates with Evernote - I immediately became very interested in this product. I wanted it mainly for work, since I take a lot of notes at a lot of meetings and I don't like balancing a...

Pics in the full site) Hardware: The HTC Flyer is by no means a lacking device when it comes to hardware. To boot, it packs a whopping 1.5GHz...
Read the full review →The flyer has flash / pen input [SCRIBE TECHNOLOGY] / changeable micro SD taking it upto 64 gb / 7" screen meaning it fits in your pocket. UNibody aluminium construction for strong build / Native email reading unlike Playbook / Gingerbread / Online gaming which is going to come in October / Most...
Read the full review →I liked this device but the pen input was useless for me. Writing on the screen felt weird so I stopped using it. The pen is not useful for anything other than writing and drawing. I wish it would have interacted with moving apps on the screen and accessing menus, etc. So, when I moved to the...
Read the full review →The HTC Flyer just isn't a good tablet, its just a nice first try. The pen integration is lacking and the quality of the hardware (screen, g-sensor) disappointing. Please wait for a more reasonably priced next version of this device. Would not recommend buying
