That said, this is truly one of the best smartphones ever made, and even spotty 4G -- a reality of a young technology that's going to take years to properly build out -- probably won't do much to hamper your enjoyment of this thing.

The first WiMAX phone in the U.S. is a terrific platform for streaming media and Web browsing, and it gets your laptop online with Sprint's 4G network. Just keep an eye out for an outlet when you're only using 4G.
Read the full review →The speedy HTC EVO 4G packs in some powerful specs and a variety of multimedia features into a stylish, minimalist design, but not everybody will get to enjoy one of its best features--4G connectivity.
Read the full review →The HTC Evo 4G is easily Sprint's best smartphone and one of today's top Android devices. It also shows the promise of 4G, which will grow as Sprint's WiMax network expands, but until there's broader 4G coverage, it's hard to agree with the mandatory premium data add-on fee.

Read the full review →If you're in a strong WiMAX coverage area, the HTC Evo 4G is a no-brainer. ... Read the full review →I love everything about my phone except that the camera takes poor pictures if the subject is moving or there is low light. Also the general white balance is WAY off.
Read the full review →I've had the EVO 4G since month one. It is a good phone, and from what I've seen, one of the best Android phones available. It works well as a phone, and decently for sending and receiving text messages, but often the time stamp on received messages will be wrong, showing your messages out of...
Read the full review →The phone would be perfect if the battery lasted longer and it was more durable. I tend to drop my phone. Currently it is cracked and I have had it repaired twice already and I've only had it for 4 months. I won't buy this phone again because of this. It cost me $75 to get the glass fixed....
