Detailed review
The best phone I've laid eyes and hands on... ever. Of course each phone is supposed to progress with time, but normally this is a gradual gain. The DROID DNA is leaps and bounds ahead of other Android devices.
Part of it is Sense 4+ that makes it so great. Another part is Android 4.1.1. And then there's the various hardware that brings it all together. Truth be told, it's the the combination of the various aspects that takes it above and beyond.
My favorite features are definitely hardware. Never have I used a screen so crisp, plus the overall device size is perfect for my hand. While the device is "lightweight" it maintains a good, solid feel. Plug in some headphones and let Beats audio complete the user experience.
The DNA also offers the battery life that you expect and deserve. As a fairly heavy phone user throughout the day, the worst I've seen the battery do is go 12 hours and still have 20% battery left. On lighter days I'm able to 18 hours with 30%+ battery life available.
In summary, if you're looking for a good, solid, reliable phone then look no further than the DROID DNA. At least get to your local Verizon store and take it for a test drive. Even if it's not the phone you end up with, you won't be disappointed by the experience.
