I was really excited about the HTC One when it was announced and I was dying to get my hands on one (pun not intended). Then they delayed its release to well after the Samsung GS4 announcement and I was worried they'd steal a lot of attention from the HTC One. Thankfully, it didn't in my opinion.
The problem with all the htc devices is that they add that orrible htc sense layer that adds months of delays to every software updates released from google. Htc, for sure, will not update this phone for more than 6 months from its launch, like they did with all the devices that they launched in the past. Just buy a samsung device, or a google nexus one, you can be sure that you will get android updates for a much longer time.

I can finally upgrade and I really want a 4GLTE phone. Since it looks like Sprint isn't getting any WP8 phones anytime soon, I've been thinking about getting one of these since we have AT&T in New York. I really want to test out these 4G LTE speeds for transmitting my graphics design work.
I wonder how many customers wait and wait and wait, because they're tight-fisted enough to JustSayNo to buying phones with contracts? While the DNA looks like the "perfect" phone, it pulls your feet out from under you when you consider the actual cost of the phone with a contract. I'll still go for the Nexus and go with prepaid until I start making over 6 figures.
