Detailed review
This phone is the best phone I have every played with or owned. I have used Iphones, WM phones, palms (not the pre), and worst of all Symbian phones.

I find that I have only 1 complaint about the android OS. Google decided to make the OS smart, so when you close a program... it doesn't necessarily go away. So, you have to go to the application manager to see if something is still running or not. Aka: you never know what is still running unless you go check.

It's not really a problem... sometimes you'll get some lag so you have to go check the application manager and shut stuff down that the OS has left running... but other than that. This may be resolved as the OS continues to mature, and it may be greatly helped as new hardware comes out.

Which brings me to Hardware. The G1/Dream is sort-of capable. It does a fantastic job at all the normal stuff, but if you want to record video... you better have really good light and you better not move. What about photos? Photos are much better and it is a barely competent camera. Screen transitions are nice, fairly snappy, the apps open pretty quickly. The browser is great (will be even better with Flash support), but you always get the feeling that all this greatness could be REALLY sweet on better hardware.

So, in summary, it's a really great experience, and it will only get better with time :)
