I have tried accessing fbabble, nimbuzz but nothing seems to work. I bought this phone online, specially believing i can have access to facebook through my phone. Moreover, although it is a google phone, whenever i try to search something, it gives a error message "something went wrong, to click on force close". this is really getting irritating, please assist.
Who's still in the market for one of these things? I just bought a brand new LG Optimus 3D as a replacement. My old Dream is up for grabs as a result. It's been rooted and flashed with CyanogenMod 6, but is still locked to Rogers. If you like, I CAN unlock it for you for a nominal fee. However I can turn it back on 1 or two times and the battery is well over 75%. I've got a new battery on the way, thanks to T-Mobile. Wondering if anyone else has seen this issue with their 1 year+ old G1.
Hey, I got a g1 off ebay, and there are a few problems. The battery only charges to 63%, and two of the keys on the keyboard don't work every time I press them. I'm trying to sort it out with the buyer, but I was wondering if there is a warranty for a phone that I didn't buy. I've tried the T Mobile and HTC websites, but I can't find anything. Also, I don't want to bring it in to a store since I'm actually an AT&T customer. Any ideas?
So I can't for the life of me figure out why my phone crashes when I convert from landscape to vertical mode especially when it's still processing something, sending SMS, etc. I'd pretty much want to replace this item but it is out of warranty. Any ideas how to fix the problem or which phone I should go for to replace this with? I do like the Nexus one but it's pretty pricey unless I'm a new customer or done with my contract. Sometimes if I am using twidroid or the Facebook app and I press the 'Home' button it takes approximately 10 seconds to get back to the homepage. Other things I notice are laggy transitions, and subpar scrolling. Any recommendations? P.S I have task killer, and lookout mobile installed
My phone has a warning on top that says Removed SD Card, Insert a new one. The card is still inside and not pushed out. I tested if the card is still working with my PC and all data is still intact. The phone on the other hand won't take any cards anymore. Any remedy to this issue?

Anyone know what the largest supported size for the SDHC card slot is? I'm guess there is no way it will work over 32GB, since that is where the SDHC format maxes out, but has anyone tried a 32 GB card? I know 8 GB cards work, but I would be very interested to hear from people with working 16 or 32 GB cards. Also, would running the latest Cyanogen mods make a difference?
I use the default music player for the phone a lot but my main problem is that when i set it on shuffle, it just keeps shuffling through the same 5 songs, sometimes repeating the same song twice in a row. How can i fix this or whats a better app?

I recently got a g1, switching from an iPhone 3g. I have a Kenwood stereo in my car, with a usb port that can play songs off flash drives and the like, and it also supported iPod/iPhone playback. I figured it should work fine reading the music off my sc card of the g1, but the stereo says "NA DEVICE" when I plug it in. Is there any way around this?
