The HTC Desire will live up to its hype for many. As an alternative to the iPhone, you'll find it offers plenty of power, an excellent browsing experience and plenty of customisation opportunities. quote

The Desire is yet another fine piece of work from HTC – build quality is top notch as usual, and there's little to complain about the software except for the Flash performance.

The Desire is one of the fastest Android phones on the market. ... it's definitely worthy of your desire—however embarrassing the name may be.

Camera is not amazing. Video recording quality is very good in reasonable light, however, it may happen that video freezes for several frames. I love the device nevertheless! Browser is amazing, GPS nice and accurate, although may take a while to catch signal, GMAIL client great with minor flaws
