  • Reception and call quality Initially had a problem with the microphone (and searches in various forums reveal this isn't an isolated incident) but a reboot solved this. Otherwise good. good
  • Display Crisp, sharp and bright and 800x480 is well suited to the screen size. good
  • Battery life Not really great. Not bad but...not great. so-so
  • Camera Camera starts very quickly and takes pretty decent photos. so-so
  • Ease of use WebOS intuitive and fun to use. good
  • Design and form factor Was always intrigued to use a QWERTY slider but ultimately it's a bit disappointing because of the (top-heavy) balance but overall a nice experience. good
  • Portability (size / weight) Very pocket-able and light is a bit thick. good
  • Media support No comments so-so
  • Durability No comments good
  • Ecosystem (apps, accessories, etc.) Wireless charging dock was a true innovation. so-so
Detailed review
Frustrating to use mainly because of the promise that HP squandered. Some genuine software and hardware innovations, many of which have now been incorporated into other OSes.

Notifications, card-based multitasking, integrated Skype calling and excellent cross-platform IM service are all great.
