I am using the same product even today in a daily basis more than 10 hrs. daily without any problem and no parts replaced till today. the battery is worn out last year though I have opted for AC connection mode.

worst laptop I've ever bought. has design flaws that make it break easily. - HD broke several times (this is due o the way it is positioned inside the dv9000) - fan gets very loud. replacing it is a major operation. google for Pavilion dv9000 dis-assembly, you will see a gallery of horrors.
