I'v had this computer for about five year and the lid release latch wiggles and the hinges are loose but the performance is solid. I upgraded the ram to 2GB and hard drive to 250GB. I have done several clean installs of windows to maintain optimal performance and have been satisfied. I installed Windows 7 but rolled back to XP because there were no Intel Graphics Media Accelerator for mobile drivers for Windows 7 which led to choppy video.

The form factor is clean and simple. The durability of the palm rest are impressive as they show little wear after five year of use. Additionally the Quick Play and remote control capabilities have been a Godsend. In an airport i can listen to music or watch a movie without booting into the OS.
