Detailed review
I was going to buy a netbook. But for $100 more, I get a better processor, more RAM, Windows 7 Home Premium and a bigger screen. I didn't have to sacrifice much since I get about 6 hours of battery life with constant web browsing, occasional music and use of OpenOffice. The only minor nuisance is the fan is slightly louder than I like, but hey, if it keeps the dm1 cool (with the CoolSense technology) than its worth the trade-off. It is also looks very good and is well built considering the price.
