This is kind of a strange question, but my friend just bought one of the newer HP Mini's, a 210 I think, and I noticed that the size of the keys look very similar. However the new keys have ridges etched in giving them more separation between the keys like a chiclet keyboard. So I was wondering if it was possible to buy replacement keys for a newer model HP Mini and put them on my 311, for an easy keyboard upgrade.
As a heavy web surfer, social media person and a heavy MS Office user, I'm wondering what, if any, issues would prevent me from making this my primary computer. Will having multiple docs and Chrome tabs really slow it down or is it just other types of software I should avoid. I've already got a few backup drives for all the pics and vids of my 4-year old. Thoughts?
Does anyone know which gpu chip they are using. Read that there was going to be an upgrade to ION but have not come across any new articles stating the official change over. Seems like on the front page of HP's site for the Mini 311, it still says that the chip is ION LE and from what I have read the LE is a lite verson of the regular ION chip (no Direct X 10 support which I would rather have). Anyone know when they will make the change or is it already in place? Any help? Thanks.
