Purchased HP G61 327CL from Sam's Club to replace Acer Aspire 5100 four months ago. Unit is used to navigate 39' sail boat in Caribbean.
Unit has been experiencing Hard failures and Blue Screens since first used. Sam's Club passed buck to HP. HP's 1-800-Call India could not resolve. Failure is hardware not software related(OS-MS 7). If you are looking for a Laptop to perform serious functions, not just watch cartoons, this is not a viable choice. We are considering using it as an anchor for our dinghy.
