Most of the monitors I've owned have had a matte finish, but I'm gaming a little less now, and watching more video on my PC. For movies, their display is brilliant. Better than any monitors I've ever owned. Response time, etc, are just fine and there's no blurring/ghosting. My last (Acer)...

Great color and contrast levels. This screen has a glossy screen so reflections may be an issue for some. HDMI, DVI, VGA inputs. Has an internal speaker as well, although not very strong and advise against using them. Only up and down adjustments.
