  • Video recording quality Love the new 2.7k and 4k recording. Also love the 60fps 1920p and 120fps 720p. So smooth on action. Protune setting is really nice as well. great!
  • Audio recording quality No comments good
  • Recording capacity Works with standard microSD, so you can cheaply have tons of storage. great!
  • Battery life Battery isn't great. Gets worse with WiFi. so-so
  • Durability Waterproof case. Very durable great!
  • Portability It doesn't get any more portable than this. Includes build-in Wi-Fi and is thinner than last year's model. great!
  • Ease of use Ease of use is O.K. without their new mobile app. Very good with it. Works as a view-finder and changes all settings. good
  • Design and form factor No comments great!
Detailed review
I bought the old GoPro and it was nice, but this blows it away. The only negative so far is the fact I cant use all of the new features until they push a new firmware update to this unit on 12/14.

Just upgraded the firmware today so now the camera acts as a WiFi hotspot. You can use a smartphone or tablet to change all settings as well as a viewfinder. Major improvement. Only concern now is battery life on the camera when the tablet is used as a view finder. May need to purchase a second battery or battery backpack.
