Unlike 4.0 and 4.1, 4.2 to me is a total disappointment. Almost all the new features had the right intentions but missed the mark and execution of that intent. Issues:

I for one am liking the direction they are heading in. The first "promise" that has significant meaning to me is one of battery performance. In the UK at the moment the 64GB blackberry playbook is available for £129, (and for me £116) the Nexus 7 is £159 or £199 for the 8GB and 16GB versions respectively. I live in the Seychelles. Every time I go onto https://play.google.com/store/devices/details?id=n... I get told this device is unavailable to my country. Short of taking a plane halfway around the world (16+hrs) I don't ever see myself owning this device.
I know for some phones (such as my beloved BlackBerry 9780), the 3.5mm headphone jack is shaped in such a way that does not allow the Beats by Dre headphone port to fully connect into it...I'm wondering if my headphones will work with this phone or not, basically.

Currently every single major smart phone is a black slab with a large touch screen. When will a company change that form factor and introduce or reintroduce a different form factor? Will we see smart phones with flip screens, similar to the original RAZR, or something new that is not a black slab?
I'm about to — today — purchase a Nexus 7. I read somewhere that there was an HDMI-out port, but I can't see it. I suppose it could be the Micro-USB port, but I can't find any adapters. Do such things exist? Do they work? Can you recommend one?
I have been trying to set up Gmail in MacOS X Lion (latest version) through the Settings App, but it gives some IMAP error and refuses to set up, same story with Sparrow. Its working just fine on my iOS devices.
I've saved up enough for a galaxy nexus which is what I want because I want an unlocked phone running stock Android 4.0 that gets regular updates. I got this a few weeks ago...it said my account had been accessed from France. It suggested if I wasn't in France I should change my password. I did. Today I got a notice saying it had been accessed from Japan. Changed my password again but for some reason I feel like this is some error.
