- Speed and features For 2gb of ram, it lags at times. If you have more than 10 tabs open, it could get really slow and buggy. Wish it had an extra USB port.
- Design and form factor This is the perfect size for a laptop. It's not too heavy, has a full size keyboard, and it's just perfect
- Battery life last a good 7 hours on a charge, more than most laptops.
- Display a little too small, but the high resolution makes up for it.
- Durability I can tell this is going to last a while.
- Expandability not very up-gradable. However, if you're a modder, you can upgrade the SSD, flash the BIOS chip, and install any OS on it.
- Noise I can't hear it 99% of the time. Perfectly quiet.
- Portability (size / weight) Highly portable and light.
Detailed review
The cr-48 is amazing. I'm more impressed with the hardware than the software. Although it's fast booting up, if you're a heavy internet user like me, it will start to bug down after you have a lot of tabs open. Chrome OS is good, but I wish it had more features, like full shell without having to go in to dev mode. For a modder/hacker, the hardware is awesome. You can flash the BIOS allowing for other OS's to be installed, and you can even upgrade the SSD. I like the brandless design and the custom keyboard. The trackpad is big and and responsive.
My only complain is the lack of better flash support.
