With Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), Google's mobile OS takes a major step forward, adding performance improvements, interface enhancements, and a number of new features, including better search, offline maps, and the Google Now reminder and guidance app. While Android may still lag iOS in terms of ease-of-use, Jelly Bean shows that Google is willing to go toe-to-toe with Apple with new, innovative, features, and is able to surpass iOS when it comes to flexibility and configuration options.
