- Ease of use Still needs a little tweaking to make everything seamless.
- Speed 3.0 on my Tab 10.1 is as speedy as can be.
- Configurability Android excels at configurability. You can do pretty much whatever you want with the OS.
- Ecosystem (apps, drivers, etc.) The ecosystem could also use a little work. There's a lot of fragmentation. I mean, even now, 3.1 has come out, and it's already fragmented.
- Openness Very open. Do whatever you want.
Detailed review
When it comes down to it Android 3.0 is a strong contender against iOS. I definitely like how Google realized that a tablet demands a different experience than a phone, and didn't just throw Gingerbread on their tablets.
All in all, Honeycomb devices are probably meant for the nerdier people. I wouldn't necessarily recommend my grandmother get a Xoom like I would an iPad. However, as we are the generation that's growing up with these products, that's probably a good thing.
