Google claims "Apple is rewriting history." Are they? The story seems to go both ways.

I keep seeing people claim that Apple is wrong about Google's foray into the world of mobile phones - simply because the iPhone was introduced in 2007, while Google purchased Android in 2005. However, it seems like most people making this argument use some sort of logical fallacy. "Introduced" does not mean "started working on." GSM Based Phones

Looking at all my possible options. I'm going to get a phone in the next six months, and every now and again I look at a phone and notice it doesn't do GSM. Sad really, since I live in BC, Canada, and would like to see what my options for now and the next couple months are. Basically for a research point of view really. Where are the Androids?

I've been looking at different smart phones as my soul is finally returning back to me soon from AT&T's binding 2 year contract (and may be leaving to another mobile service, if not back to them).
