The US Copyright Office in 2010, stated Jailbreaking iOS devices is legal. Now this exemption is running out. I would like to hear what you think about rooting or jailbreaking. I'm doing some research of my own and want any information, whether you oppose Jailbreaking/Rooting or you're in favor, I want to know. I for one, actually really love it. They have a bunch of free music from some great artists (picked up some free Train, Five for Fighting, and Oasis). They might not have Warner yet, but it's still a fledgling service that connects really nicely with Google+ - if someone shares a song you can get a free listen of that song, not a 90-second preview.

Google depends on advertising dollars for the bulk of its income and has freely given away its Android software to anyone. Now Amazon has taken a version of Android, heavily modified it, and controls the ecosystem for its Fire tablet. Will or can Google get anything out of this or have they been left out in the cold?
I'm not talking about something like Prism, Chrome apps or the offline storage interface (which I think is extremely subpar). I'm talking about something like Sparrow for OS X. Preferably free, but if it's awesome I'm willing to shell out the cash. One thing I'd like to have is that it uses the gmail shortcuts, like Sparrow does.

with google music you have the ability to add 20,000 of your own songs. i did about 17,000. some of the songs need to be updated. is there a way to updated music sent to cloud?

Just saw an interview on BGR with the Lighting Science Group CEO and he talked about a partnership with Google on Android@Home. I had forgotten what Android@Home was!
