At the time when I got it (June 2010), it was the greatest bang for buck purchase at $629.99CAD! I loved this laptop to bits. It had a neat glowing touchpad that I've never seen on any laptop. I picked up this laptop not long after it's release (at least in the Best Buy I work at), and it's been holding up great. It's currently running a dual boot of Windows 7 and Ubuntu, and handles it flawlessly. The only thing I had to "tinker" with, hardware wise, in Linux was the multitouch...
