The Stylistic Q550 packs such business-friendly features as a fingerprint reader and a removable battery, but its Atom processor lacks oomph.

The Fujitsu Stylistic Q550 (Intel Atom Z690) keeps everything we like about the tablet—like built-in security, rugged construction, and relative ease of use—while offering faster processing.

Fujitsu's Stylistic Q550 has a functional and robust design. We appreciate the removable battery, while the Infinity Lounge Windows 7 overlay has potential. However, performance is mediocre and internal storage sparse. There should also be a housing on the chassis for the stylus.

The Q550 makes a lot of compromises and they may not be the right ones for you. You get business security features and full-size ports in compact but sturdy package - but not the full power to go with them.

As a graphics tablet to use out in the field, it's an excellent device thanks to its matt screen and digitizer. However, it's also not particularly powerful...

If you're handed this tablet by the IT department for using at work, then the Windows OS and some of the security features will make it worth holding on to. But in all honesty, if you're looking for a professional tablet, you're probably best buying the Asus Eee Pad Transformer.

It's a nice windows tablet, unfortunately the atom processor is not fast enough to make it snappy. It's way better than the iPad for drawing stuff, but I never use it for anything else.
