There's a lot to like about the Fujifilm FinePix X10, but advanced shooters may be frustrated by the trade-offs for the best photos, especially since it's more expensive than its competitors.

Is it a camera I enjoyed using? Yes, quite a bit. Would I buy it? Probably not, though that's due more to the highlight clipping than the white disc issue. Should you consider it? Definitely, but check out the competition carefully.

We could see a camera like this keeping us happy for the rest of the decade, by which point it will have proved itself very good value indeed.
