Detailed review
I'm not a huge fan of Wireless roiuters that often lose their connections requiring you to reset them on a weekly (or sometime daily) basis. I prefer using a stable router to support my home network, and a separate wireless access point to provide wireless. The Fon La Fonera is a great, inexpensive access point thats fairly easy to set up.

On the FON network, the router enables you to create a few free "local" users but allows you to charge others for use of your wireless network. You can choose to be paid for every person who uses your network, or gain free access to the entire FON network. This is great for people who travel much and need access to wifi wherever they go (Just check the FON site and make sure there's Foneras where you're headed!)

The unit is easy to customize as well. Tools are available on the Internet that will help you replace the firmware on the unit giving you a fully configurable open wireless access point.

I've seen projects where the La Fonera was installed in other items, such as a plastic pineapple, Small book, or even a Teddy Bear.

For it's ease of use and flexibility, I give it a 10.
