You'd be hard-pressed to find an iPhone/iPod speaker-dock system that performs as well as Fluance FiSDK500 for $200.

If you don’t crave portability and peak loudness isn’t your concern, the FiSDK500 is a fine option to consider.

For our part, we’d be willing to spend a few more dollars for just a bit more bass and a slightly flatter frequency response in the midrange section. Otherwise, this is a totally respectable product and well worth looking into for those without space concerns or need for fancy features.

It’s a great sounding dock and looks cool for $200. Unfortunately, it distorts at high volumes and some of the frequencies get a bit muddles since there are just two speakers.

I would highly recommend that anyone looking for a professional level audiophile quality iPhone/iPod speaker dock take the time to review the Fluance FiSDK500 with its great sound and beautiful glossy black case.
