I bought a Fitbit because everyone I know was getting them and it seemed kind of fun. When I first got it, the set up experience was really a pain, sort of like setting up a printer. I kept trying to get it to associate with my account and it kept failing. Once I got it up and running, I have to say,... Read the full review →

This does what they said it does. The only real shortcoming, in my opinion, is that the Fitbit application needs work. The food entry interface is beyond frustrating so I find that I only keep tabs on my activity. I look forward to an update on that so that I can keep more complete records. Read the full review →
Since January 2010, I have been using the Fitbit. The Fitbit is a little wireless device that has an accelerometer in it so it can track movement. It also can wirelessly transfer information to a base station that is connected by ubs to your computer and then send that info to your Fitbit.com web... Read the full review →
I received the Fitbit 2 months ago, and set up and using it has been simple. Some people have had issues losing the device, but I have good luck with the belt clip. Check out their site forums for suggestions on tethering or suggested ways to wear it so you don't lose yours. I have found the... Read the full review →

Ever since I received one of these, I've been in obsessively tracking various health related stats. I find myself comparing how many steps and how active I've been between today and yesterday, today and my weekly average, and compared to other FitBit users. It's actually been pretty... When it comes to logging your activity, it doesn't get any easier that this. An additional benefit is that you can set it to record your sleep activity and see just how many times you move around at night. Another bonus is that there is no required recurring fee associated with fitbit, as compared... Read the full review →

I like the Fitbit a lot. The problem is that I don't see it much of a use other than a pedometer and an online food log. Am I missing something? I think the price point is too high for a very well designed pedometer. Read the full review →

Waited months for it. Had it several days and it came out of the supplied belt holder just walking around at work, software/office job nothing energetic. Worst industrial design ever. Frustrated, what a total waste of money all because they cannot design their belt holder correctly. Seriously, who... Read the full review →

I loved my fitbit. It worked as advertised and I really have no complaints about operation. Its on my Had list though because it is very easy to lose, and yep, I lost it. I'm overseas in the war, and was using it there, and so I guess it just fell out of my body armor or something. Sigh. I may... Read the full review →
